Title: unreal 3 black, 12$ for UT3+ update on steam?

I guess that big ass unreal tournament 3 update came out today as it started downloading and it is indeed huge.

Also i checked the store and its 12$ till march 15th on steam, plus you can apparently try the full game for free this weekend just by making a steam account, they really want people to try this.

the community is all but dead for that game, theres more people playing 2004 than UT3 :(

but at 12 bucks I might bite. Is this new black pack coming to 360? I might get it on 360 just cause of coop for me and the misses.

i bought this when it was on sale and played around w/ it a bit, but still prefer 2k4

I am going to wait for the freeplay this weekend. $12 is tempting, but you guys don't seem to up on it, and I am not a huge fan of the Unreal series anyways.

I really didn't like the grungification, the detail and smudge felt counter-productive to the type of game it actually is. I think its biggest issue was that it wasn't really a necessary game. Other than the improved graphics, what did it offer over 2K4? I guess those new vehicles were cool, though.

For $12, I'll give it another shot. If nothing else, playing against bots is enough entertainment to justify the cost.

I am really happy to see them put all this effort -- downloading it now for PC.

I just wish the look of the game was cleaner. The game is so visually cluttered it loses a lot of what made UT2004 so great.  :'(

I just watched some video reviews, and I am really not interested in this game. The graphics and weapons look really uninteresting. About the only things that looked interesting were the necromorph walkers. I'll stick to TF2 for the time being
