refried beans are the best.

fry some bacon, then take out the bacon, fry the beans in the bacon grease and mash them up and then throw in the pieces of bacon.  then put a layer of cheese on top and eat with tortillas.  sex sex sex.

Love beans.  They're so healthy, too.  I love bean based soups as well, like Cuban Black Bean Soup.  Tuscan style bean dips are also great.

Not hatin' on you Tieno but when overseaers call Chilli "Chilli Con Carne" it bothers me to no end even though I realize it shouldn't  :-\

How about Chilli with meat?

Kinda always felt like Chilli is Chilli, if you want to do it emphasize you're doing it without meat you can call it vegetarian chilli (which the coffee shop just on the corner does great, just had some this morning) if you want.

Anyways, don't want to drag this out as arguments about semantics across different regions is actually one of my pet peeves (people call shit whatever they call shit, deal), so it's kinda weird i'd even bring this up.

I like eating them by themselves, but just recently I've started adding beans to some beef mince-type dishes.  Nummy nums.
