When people pop off about how the rich worked harder, longer hours and sacrificed more for their careers, they're basically embracing Marxism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labour_theory_of_value).

I get a lot of shit done working ~60 hours a week.  That usually means 20 hours a week of nobody else around, so no phone calls, no questions, no inane chatter.  Just you and the work.  Feels great to be weeks ahead of some deadline so despite the hours, you're never scrambling to get something out the door.
