Title: The best DS game you're not playing
Post by: GilloD on March 11, 2009, 10:37:47 PM: Elite Forces Unit 77: Jagged Alliance for the DS. It's a top-down shooter that plays maybe a little bit like Diablo. You control a 4-man team, each member has special abilities- The muscle, the computer nerd, the sniper etc. So fucking fun. The story is distinguished mentally-challenged and maybe offensive (MUSLIMS!) and one of the characters is named Dag Hammer, but this shit rules. I can't find a review of it anywhere, but here's the official website:

It's not like Diablo at all, it's just the viewmode. Move along people, game is crap.

YES. That is exactly what I was thinking of and couldn't remember. My Dad and I played like 900 hours of that shit on Genesis.

Has the world forgotten Jagged Alliance already? JA2 was one of the best PC games I ever played. I wonder if this is even close to as good?

i'm playing that game now. it's a lot of fun. about the level of turn based strategy i can deal with.
