Title: Friday Night Lights

Holy shit. I have negative interest in football, sub-negative interest in high school football and a low-gut disdain for middle America. But god damn if this isn't the best show I've seen in a long time. Way to fucking rule. So good.

I bought the first season a couple years ago fully expecting to take advantage of NBC's "if you don't like this show we'll refund your money" promise that was on the front of the DVD case. But the show turned out to be goddamn fantastic.

I loved the first season.  I've been putting off the second season because I remember people being way disappointed by at least the beginning of it.

Friday Night Lights is a great show.  Coach Taylor and his wife are both awesome.  It can get far too melodramatic at times, though.
