Title: New games don't come in on Tuesdays anymore.

Why?

EB says only huge releases come on Tuesday, the rest ship Tuesday and arrive Wednesday.  Why did this come about?  Are they trying to compete with comic book stores?

This has been a frequent trend from what i've seen for years now.

Basically Nintendo and EA ship games on Mondays, and just about everyone else ships on Tuesdays.

During the holiday season ive seen a good number of psp games hit on friday which is weird.

I thought it was to not conflict with the video releases on Tuesdays.

Real reason is cause the distributors switched from UPS to FedEx. And FedEx fucking sucks major ass. They dont even guarantee the package to be there on wednesday's anymore. This is mainly for the west coast especially in california for gamestop and eb. At least thats the official explanation I have been given for PoR not being in. I just want my anniversary collectors thing.

Portrait of Ruin is pretty big -- and pretty hard. It's my type of game! :-*
