"increased depth of planet exploration"-hopefully
Can't wait...
-
Mass Effect 1 was pretty much a Sega CD game. You press some buttons and a cut scene plays. But I liked it!
-
Does increased depth mean there will actually be a reason to explore planets this time?
-
PC version better be released day and date with the 360 one this time
and the game better be 4x the lenght because it was pathetically short when you remove all the blank cut 'n paste barren planet trekking missions

I'm not sure that's gonna happen. It rarely happens now. It will probably be delayed at least a week or so at the least or months at the most.
-
PC,what is that? :lol
The only thing i care about is how they will manage ME1 save files...
-
:bow Mass Effect :bow2

Hopefully. That was my biggest complaint with the first game.
-
If PC gets it day one, I will buy MEPC and just beat that one so I can continue the space adventure on my computer.
-
boooo
Apparently it takes more than 2 years to make a game now, smh
-
no one cares

Doesn't mention PS3 anywhere in the press release.

Go sit in a corner. You ruined everything
NO SHIT IT DOESNT SAY PS3 OMG
-
Dragon Age will be on PS3 it seems pretty obvious that EA wants Mass Effect to be on PS3 but also that MS has bought some sort of timed exclusivity, so ultimately it will hit Sony's console
-
I want Mass Effect anywhere.
:heartbeat favorite game on 360 :heartbeat

Yeah.
All the Sfag has to do is wait.
Just wait.
-
i played the first for a little bit on PC a little while back
game is terrible.
-
I'd only recommend playing it if you liked KOTOR. Took all the elements in that and vastly improved it. It's a lot funner playing as a sentinel (tech/biotic) class though since then you actually have to use strategy.
-
Mass Effect doesnt really have combat

Only four dialog options this time? bleah.
LOL at the dude's chest hair though.
-
I bought the first game a while back, haven't played it yet, worried I'm gonna absolutely detest the combat.
But from what little I've heard of the music, that sounds right up my alley.
-
2nd MCD victim and counting
-

The game was almost 20 hours without doing any of the side quests unless you purposely rushed through it or played on the easiest difficulty or didn't explore, etc.
Stop with the ignorant ME trolling. This community is filled with so much hyperbole, it's just crazy.
-
Alpha Protocol looks like shit
-
I kind of am looking forward to Alpha protocol just to see how it turns out. The game's RPG mechanics look a little too over the top (leveling up your pistols for a triple kill) but you can tell that they wanted to make an original game from that GTTV interview. Hopefully it feels fun.
-
I've never even heard of Alpha Protocol before now. So yes, I guess I was trolled.

Its an RPG made by Obsidian(KOTOR 2,NWN2).
Something about some spy...
Not enough visible gameplay data to say something about it,tho
-
While the hand-to-hand combat in AP looks really good, the dialog trees look really boring.
It has potential tho.
It's Mass Effect staring James Bond, Jason Bourne, or Jack Bauer.
I just noticed their initials.

Even Obsidian admits that they took elements from those three characters and mashed them together. :lol
-
A spy RPG with dialog trees. Sounds like something I might be interested in. The affiliation with Sega kind of scares me away though.
-
I just noticed something too.
Obsidian is basically built around coping Bioware and making sequels to Bioware games.
Which is really just fine, given that they out-Bioware Bioware.
-
Alpha Protocol's skill system seems a lot like Deus Ex. Which is damned awesome.

Didn't have much impact on the Total War series.

Sega + RPG is usually a good thing though...
-
I dream of Alpha Protocol before going to bed at night, most awaited game in ages for me
-
Alpha protocol has turd written all over it.
-
I thought the sidequests were fine but I'm a completionist whenever I do play an RPG. They said that they would improve the variety or depth of the sidequests though.

dos player co-op? that sounds exciting and horrible at the same time.
-
I doubt that means co-op. That is the trailer being played
Nice to see the Aquos represented :rock

Really? i finished the game in 20 hours with most of the sidequests done. 8) even got the achievement for completing the majority of the game.
