I know I'm a filthy American and like 16 years behind the times, but this record is super hot. Blame America for being a cultural toilet for it taking so long to reach my ears. God damned fucking America. They should have sent more planes on that day, they should. Anyway, the album has just about something for everyone. It's like a more psychedelic and eclectic version of that already psychedelic and eclectic first Stone Roses album. Also, better than anything the Beatles have recorded.
Album is super awesome; will listen to as I drift into ambien coma tonight.

one of my favorite records ever. vanishing point is great too though darker. there was a time when i really liked xtrmntr but eh. haven't really kept up with their stuff since. just missed them with brian jonestown massacre on monday -- should have gone to that show. saw them seven or eight years ago in new york when kevin shields was touring with them and that was fuckin awesome. though i could never figure out exactly what sounds shields was producing. maybe he wasn't even plugged in and they just had him up there to look stoned and fat and legendary

brian jonestown is still going? I'm kind of shocked.

yeah, though nowadays whenever i see them it's anton and a different bunch of random dudes. actually some old acquaintances of mine were his rhythm section for one tour

I don't know what this thread is about, I could wiki it or read the op but I wont.

Has it been 16 yrs? Jeez. I spent much of my college years dancing to this. It's still in the regular rotation. Just can't ever get tired of it.

The saddest thing about Primal Scream is that even people with good memories tend to only remember "Rocks." :'(

smh, you're just now listening to this TVC? And yes, get Vanishing Point.
