Post by: Himu on March 26, 2009, 01:07:19 PM
I fucking hate the people who make dvd subtitles.  :yuck :yuck :yuck

I'm pretty sure that deaf people know what electronic beeping and sighing and intense music sounds like!

[electronic beeping]

[beeping]

[intense music plays]

[electronic beeping]

[intense music]

[sighs]

[explosion]

I fucking hate those people who make those handicap ramps for public buildings.   :yuck :yuck :yuck

I'm pretty sure handicapped people can get up the stairs just fine!

No offense to people who are deaf, but I wish people who did these dvds would realize that not all people who watch dvds with subtitles are deaf and just want them for clarification on what's been said. But even then, subtitles on dvds tend to be awful, full of misspellings and typos.

closed captions != subtitles

Also note that Himuro is the one that couldn't play Assassin's Creed because it lacked subtitles.  He's pretty picky.

Also quoting this a few more times to emphasize its terribleness:

Are you fucking kidding me? Subtitles are more practical than rewinding over and over. Sometimes I can't catch what they say and I want to hear it.

Lawl increase the volume i usually never have that problem unless there's alot of noise in the room, subtitles are more distracting \ annoying then anything else. :-\
