Title: First Call of Duty coming to PS3 and Xbox 360?

Has this been confirmed?  A update of COD1 to the new graphics engine would be pretty cool. 

COD 1 is probably my favorite game in the series although I don't know if its gameplay would still hold up.   It's been quite a few years since I've played it.

i played cod1 in 2004 (the last time i had a reasonably up-to-date gaming pc!) and liked it quite a lot at the time. would download

edit: would download if it wasn't overpriced, which it will be

I played CoD1 not too long ago on PC and it was still awesome, still way better than 4, and I still liked it more than 2. And Medal of Honor Allied Assault wasn't as awesome as I remembered it  :-\

I might get the 360 if there is a decent enough reason to, like if it's updated in some way.

No reason to update the graphics.  Still looks fine today.

Love that game.

The beginning of the Russian campaign, where the commanders are shooting deserters, and you have to grab your first rifle off the dead body of the guy who was running in front of you  :lol

I loved it too. Would definitely like to check it out to see if it holds up. My PC at the time was a bit crappy so I was playing at 30fps or so.

First COD was really great. Some seriously fun locations for battles in that one. I replayed through it and United Offensive (the expansion) last year and had a great time.

The graphics weren't too bad at all. Yeah not up to date but it (of course) still looked way better than anything on the Wii.
