The Spongebob stuff are their yearly April Fools songs.  Last year they had the Portal song available on April 1.

Rock Band is such a massive failure and the $250 Beatles version will be even a bigger failure. People will just buy a $250 Wii and Guitar Hero. Just like last year.

Rock Band = For GAF Elitists and people with more money than they need in 2G2D.
Guitar Hero = For everyone else.
