sony already abandoning ps3
-
Pass.
-
Smart move.
PS3 is still too expensive for a Jak game.
Surprised Ratchet made the jump to PS3 already. Not that I'm complaining, I love the Ratchet games but the system is still $399.

99% sure it's an April's Fool joke. J&D isn't popular enough for Sony to make such an investment.

Didn't Daxter do very well on PSP?
-
It makes total sense for Sony to release this game on these platforms. If it's an April Fools joke, they should have made it a bit more unbelievable. I wouldn't be surprised if it's legit news with poor timing.
Plus they've put a gun into a platforming franchise. If that isn't real, I don't know what is.

if its more light hearted like the first game (it looks like it is) hell I'll give it a shot

Whose developing?
-
High Impact Games - the Ratchet PSP devs

ugh I was actually a bit excited especially since Ready at Dawn stated recently that they're reconsidering PSP development again (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/12/16/ready-at-dawn-maybe-we-should-reconsider-psp-development/) after they ceased it by returning the dev kits. :-\
Daxter (and GoW:CoO) > Size Matters PSP
Yeah. Size Matters was kinda ehhhhhhh...
PSP = Place to give up and coming devs a shot without giving them a budget. Then if they're good slowly move them to console games with budgets. If they're average then keep them on handhelds. I want Ready at Dawn's next game to be on a console, and not some waste of time wii port.
