Title: What are the best Yo La Tengo albums?
Post by: TakingBackSunday on April 02, 2009, 02:35:53 PM
They just popped on my No Age Pandora station and I'm enjoying this song very much.  I've always meant to get into them, but I never knew where to start.

Any fans here?  If not, then  :(

Painful
I Can Hear the Heart beating As One
ElectroPura (Decora/Tom Courtenay)
I Am Not Afraid....
And Then Nothing Turned Inside Out (Crying Of Lot G/Let's Save Tony Orlando's House/Cherry Chapstick)

There's no "bad" album, although some are definitely more engaging than others. I rather like "Summer SUn" as background music, but as an introduction it could be a snoozer

I Can Hear The Heart beating as one is probably the best one to start with (because it's what i started with), and it's their best album next to 'painful'
