Title: I really am a sap
Post by: The Fake Shemp on December 06, 2006, 02:35:07 PM: I had a dream last night, where someone gave me a $1 bill, a $5 bill and a $100 bill when I was supposed to get just 3 singles. You'd think, "Hey! It's a dream! I am going to take this money and blow it all on my wildest imaginary fantasies!"

... but I felt guilty, even in my dream! I just felt compelled to do the right thing and return it; I couldn't possibly keep this imaginary money that was not mine. I returned the $5 and $100 bill to its rightful owner, who was very grateful. Then I woke up for work.

Do I suck?

Because sometimes the best episode of 24 or House is in your dreams somewhere.

Being morally upstanding is one thing, but short changing yourself out of guilt over someone else's mistake? That makes you a sap.
