Title: How to get rid of these bugs?
Post by: Himu on April 13, 2009, 03:03:08 PM
I'm a pretty clean person. I pick up after myself, don't leave food in my room, and throw out the trash often. I wash my sheets at least every other week too.

Often I've come in contact with these little orange bugs biting me. They don't leave a rash, and the bites aren't even painful (more like itchy) but they're still annoying and a blight on my hygiene.

Google suggests that these bugs are thrips, which are common around pools. There's a pool nearby, but I'm tired of encountering these things. Anything I can do? The worst thing ever is walking, minding your own business and you encounter a small ass bug crawling at the top of your glasses.

rofl

Well, I wear blue and white a lot. One of my habits though, is to grab a small leaf off a tree or bush and rip it in half. I'm reading that these things love plants to death so maybe I'm grabbing a leaf or two with thrips on them.

Speaking of bugs, these fuckers have invaded my entire region:

Luckily they are basically dormant in the winter and summer and only a little active in the spring. But when fall hits, fuck... you could kill all of them and a dozen more will be back the next day.

I have like a thousand stink bug corpses littering my bedroom at my parent's house.  I throw out a ton of them every time I visit, but there never seems to be any end.

Box Elders are a pretty common sight as well.
