I just clicked a link and got the code.  I think 1up and Gamespot also have things going on.

I only played 2 games so far and it's fun, but really laggy.  It's basically Team Fortress 2 if it was an overhead action game.  Controls are more loose than I expected them to be and coupled with the lag it has a weird feel.  Like, the character movement is more like Phantom Hourglass Zelda and not other top down Zelda games.  The biggest problem other than the lag was that fattening up the princess wasn't as satisfying as I hoped.  From what I can tell, every time an enemy takes her away and you rescue her again, she loses all that weight and you need to re-fatten her up.  It wouldn't be such a problem if you didn't need to put the cake directly in her mouth; the other materials you collect can be put in different buildings you capture.

I got in both the USA Today and Gamespot giveaways.  Gave away the USA Today code, though.

I tried to connect to a server last night twice, and both times the "game was full" () so I settled with bots.  I really liked it, but I played my first and only match for 40 minutes and it's impossible to actually win.  Your AI teammates heal you and build up stuff, but they never storm the castle in a huge force and actually try to take the princess.  Maybe one straggler here and there will make an attempt, but they're promptly killed and there's nothing you can do.

I also get the feeling I'm missing out on some stuff, like what command posts do and what that huge wooden flat cylinder in your dungeon does.  Etc.

The game is charming as hell though.

I was busy yesterday at work, so I missed out on all the beta grab opportunities.

ITT swaggaz expresses his disappointment :(

I know how you much you were excited about this game.

The problem is mostly the lag.  I did try the single player stuff with bots and it controlled better, but the lag completely destroys the game.  Like, when you try and attack someone only for the attack not to hit because he teleported a bit away, or you die from an attack that didn't hit you, shit gets really annoying.  If they fix that it will be great.

Swaggaz, post this on the beta forum or whatever feedback method they're using.

I can't get myself to play a game based around fat women.  Sorry ;_;  The name and art style totally turns me off.

pretty sure you can't.  There is either a "play with yourself" option (the actual name; options is called "twiddling the knobs") or playing with others online.

They didn't provide a link or anything.  Besides, the only complaint I have besides technical stuff like really laggy online play is the princess getting thin after you fatten her up, but reading the manual it seems like that's the way they want things.  I was wrong about her getting thin when enemies take her away, apparently you have to constantly be feeding her to keep her fat because she has crazy metabolism or something.  It seems like they really want 3 main groups in the teams: the attacks, defenders and the support.  Basically, if you're a villager (what you spawn as) or worker, your abilities revolve around getting or producing resources.  The villager carries objects the fastest and only attack is to stun/steal from enemies.  The worker can chop trees/mine metal or build/repair various things.

Only bug I've experienced other than the lag is the catapult getting stuck in one game.

So, is it fun?

Yeah, but it's hard to gauge exactly how fun it should be because the multiplayer matchmaking flat-out doesn't work.

Playing with bots is alright, but because of the nature of their AI it's not like the battles are unpredictable.
