MLB The Show 09
Starting season mode with the Yanquis.
OutRun XBLA
Great surprise. Waiting on PS3 version, though, but good fun.
Street Fighter 4
Trying to finish the hard trials and playing ranked exclusively for the most part.
-
Internet Spades
-
Football Manager 2009
In my... 12th season or something? 3 times Champions Cup winner with Inter Milan.
-
RE5. Fun action game, but there are way too many cut-scenes.
-
Fallout 3
Jade Empire
Maybe some Neverwinter Nights 2
-
I'm running around in circles in the last dungeon of World Destruction hoping for drops of items that let me reset my character growth for my main three because I get to the 2nd form of the final boss and it KOs my entire party in ONE SPELL. The game is soooo broken, but I want to see the ending so I guess I will keep circling for another hour or two so I can beat this stupid final boss. :(
-
this weekend i will probably be playing more Titan Quest.
-
We're having friends over tonight for a board game night (Settlers of Catan, Catchprase), but we might play some Pain and/or Rock Band.
-
Playing alot lately. Mostly it's a bunch of indie games.
Yesterday
Questionaut- Short, but visually pleasing adventure/quiz game. I kinda wished that they had ditched the quiz elements to make way for more interactivity with the planetoids.
Samorost- From the team that did Questionaut, this one ditches the quiz aspect in favor of more exploration. Well worth 20 minutes of your time if you're into a more laid back style adventure game. This and Questionaut can be found here: http://www.amanitadesign.com/
Don't Look Back- Finally finished this game yesterday and it's kinda cool in a Knytt sort of way. The whole game itself could take about 30 min. to beat and there's a nifty gimmick halfway through that gives its title its meaning.
Work this weekend
Samorost 2- After fully enjoying the first game I actually forked over the $5 last night to play its sequel. So far it's every bit as good as the orignal and the art and atmosphere is scrumptious. If you're into this sort of thing it's worth your time.
Motherload- This is temporarily taking the place of Dungeon Crawl. So far I can make 2000 ft before I do something stupid.
Etrian Odyssey II- Made it to the 2nd Stratum. Not a fan of how they took away EXP points from the FOES. There's a lot of risk fighting those enemies and there's a probability that you'll get nothing from the battle.
Orcs and Elves- Talking about this in the other thread is making me want to to pop this in again this weekend. Fun little game.
At home
Fallout 3- Saved Vault 101 from tearing itself apart and am now headed to Vault 87.
Street Fighter IV- Still playing this...
Outrun- It's been a while since I've been addicted to a racing game. Modern ones are either to realistic or openworlded for my tastes. This one is just simple and arcadey enough to keep me entertained.

RE5. Fun action game, but there are way too many cut-scenes.
Have you played MGS4? RE5 is nothing compared MGS4.
-
Ok, beat WD. Japanese version is a 6/10. The visuals are great, story is passable, but the gameplay is TOTALLY NOT THERE. Image Epoch are terrible gameplay designers (not much hope for Arc Rise Fantasia).
But if the US version is "fixed" like they are saying, it could be bumped to an 8/10 rpg.
-
Outrun Online - I've been playing this nonstop since Wednesday morning. There's only 3 achievements left for me to get and then I'll really start trying to climb the leaderboards in the outrun and time attack modes.
Mirror's Edge - Beating it for the 2nd time on hard. I found all the bags, now I just have to finish up chapter 9 without shooting anyone for the Test of Faith achievement. I'm not gonna stress myself out on the speedruns and time trials until I'm done with finals this semester.
Blue Dragon - I haven't touched this since Monday. I'll be going back to it once I'm done with Mirror's Edge. I'm at the beginning of disc 2.
Street Fighter IV - I play this every once in a while.
-
Street Fighter VI - I play this every once in a while.
Are you from the future? :o
I'm playing:
Guitar Hero: Metallica - Shit
Rock Band 2 - Awesome
SF4 - Awesome
Outrun Online - OMG :hyper :hyper :hyper
-
RE5. Fun action game, but there are way too many cut-scenes.
Have you played MGS4? RE5 is nothing compared MGS4.
I've played MGS2 and 3, and they felt disjointed as hell due to long cut-scenes around every bend. At this point (Marshlands), RE5 feels like that.
-
Ive been pretty busy so havent even really touched Outrun yet, gonna get into it hard today.
I'll probably want to boost the online achievements at some point.... :-*
And Ive been dicking around with Earthbound, Yggdra Union and Parasite Eve on da PSP
Persona 3 is fucking me off, theres this boss fight which I cannot save beofore and takes half an hour to get to, and the Emperor dude keeps on critting my main guy twice in a row beofre Ive even done shit... grrrrrrr. To makes things worse the FAQs just say: "really easy fight, just attack and win" :'( just gotta keep trying I guess
-
Street Fighter VI - I play this every once in a while.
Are you from the future? :o
damn you :lol
-
EverQuest II - leveling my Paladin, going to move my Necro from Freeport to Neriak today.
GTA Chinatown - Awesome.
MLB 09 the Show - Fuck awesome.
Chronicles of Riddick (PC) - replaying Butcher Bay.
-
dont you wish you were from the future Beezy? ;)
-
Only if they have mobilesuits and proper VR games in the future.
-
Not much 'cause of school. A bit of Outrun, and a lot more of Sengoku Basara Battle Heroes PSP when I get the chance.
-
Rhythm Heaven and FFXIII demo video's.
-
I think I'm going to play me some Yakuza 3 finally.
-
Dawn of War 2 = :tauntaun
-
More Elven Legacy, some pauper on Magic Online, and am thinking hard about starting up a new game of King's Bounty.
-
Finally started playing some Deus Ex: Invisible War; it's been sitting on my shelf for a month or two after I picked it up for $2. Despite what "The Internet" led me to believe, it's actually a pretty awesome game. Yeah, it tones down some of the RPG elements present in the first game, but I like how the world is more open and it's not just about jumping from one mission to the next. The combat is meh, but sneaking into people's houses and jacking them up is fun stuff.
-
Ya it's a solid game, just a big step down from the first.
I'm playing Legend of Zork because I suck.
-
I bought Gears of War 2 tonight, so I s'pose I'll start that tomorrow.
-
Ya it's a solid game, just a big step down from the first.
In some ways, but I wouldn't say in every way.
-
Oughta have at Dead Rising since I got a TV I can actually read its text on a few weeks ago. :hyper
-
Picked up Too Human for $9.99 at EB Games today. 3 hours in and I'm having fun with it. Reminds me a lot of my early days with PSO.
-
I finished boosting Rainbow Six Vegas. Will probably go get the sequel tomorrow. Been trying to blaze through my games to sell them off.
-
how do you boost the R6 games?
-
Asshole Cockbuster had no copies of Fiddy so now I have nothing to play.
-
how do you boost the R6 games?
Just host a ranked match and have your friend join. I got every achievement except
* Officer (Reach 2nd Lieutenant)
* Elite (Reach Elite)
* Host 16 player game
* Play every map on every mode (requires at least 2 hours -with a friend-)
-
I just played some SF4. I think it's been a week since I last played it. :o Also mo' Outrun.
I think I'm going to play me some Yakuza 3 finally.
Nice, would like to hear what you think of it. I need to get into Yakuza 1 and 2. The trailer for 3 impressed me enough that I went and finally got them. Need to play through Oboro Muramasa first though.
-
Ok I picked my next game - Overlord
With the sequel possibly coming this year, I have to be prepared
-
13 hours into Fallout 3 and I barely scratched the main quest. I really wish that it had no level cap since I'm already at level 8.
-
Star Ocean 4 - up to the final planet, but I'm grinding for drops to get some more of the delivery subquests done. Hopefully will beat the main game either this weekend or next.
Outrun XBLA - bought a prepaid card, but haven't keyed it in and bought this yet.. but I will.
Marble Saga Kororinpa - entered the code that allows me to customize my marble, and the game is far more playable (though not as good as the first one, still).
Dragon Quest 5 - just got married. I picked Nera/Flora this time...
LittleBigPlanet - playing a bit of the single player here and there.
-
PGR4 - Played a few hours and got bored of it. The game seems quite a bit different than PGR 1 and 2. Everything about it is very slick and I got it for cheap so I'll keep playing it.
Outrun - Currently downloading it. The upside is that it is 800 points. 1200 pts for a lot of games on XBLA these days is fucking ridiculous.
-
Everyone needs to hurry up and start playing Outrun! :maf
-
Resident Evil 5.
So far it sucks.
-
Fallout 3 - I think I've leveled up my new character enough to tackle The Pitt
COD: WAW - The new Nazi Zombies map is a lot of fun, and I played a little co-op story last night
I might finally get around to installing The Witcher and the enhanced patch today.
-
Drank some kick ass Trappist ales last night and then came home and played some drunken Catan with the wife and a couple friends. Awesome night.
-
Finally making some headway into Street Fighter 4 now that I've got a MadCatz pad. Even held my own in a few online fights last week despite not knowing how to use supers or ultras or anything added after Street Fighter 2.
-
DQV, a bit of Halo Wars
-
I finally got around to the Patapon demo and it's pretty fun. I might get the sequel.
-
Picked up Ninja Blade. Hope it's good.
-
SF4- Played an amazing Seth player (GT is "FuduVudu" iirc) who had some insane air juggle stuff going. He whupped my ass good, but I enjoyed it! :lol I was pretty much just :o the entire time. I also played (again) this Akuma player that does amazingly well with his hit-and-run/fireball spam tactics. I have beat him every time he's appeared in ranked, but I started turning his matches down, because this kind of match is so damn boring.
RE5- Versus mode rocks so much fuckin' much. Played a bunch of Slayer and Team Slayer games mostly; Team Slayer was me and a buddy against the same two guys over and over. They'd start out getting a massive score advantage, but we came back and won every. single. time. It was hilarious; there was even a close match where they were going to win with just a few seconds on the clock, but my buddy and I both killed a few Majini right at the very end and it sent us over the top. Awesome.
-
played heaps of Outrun XBLA today, its sooooooo good got like half the achievements so far.
Got past that annoying boss in Persona 3, I just grinded a little and bought some new gear. Woohoo gonna play some more now, or watch a Very Brady Sequel
-
I haven't even been able to finish a race in Outrun XBLA yet :(
-
i'm playing mass effect.
the planet portions kind of suck but everything else is like Kotor 3 without the lucas license
-
i'm playing mass effect.

Don't even bother with the crashed probes or minerals, there's no achievements or worthy loot from them. It was also annoying to me how of the four weapons classes from a dozen manufacturers, the specter assault rifle was the best one in every situation. Makes the soldier class really worthless.
-
Valkyria Chronicles
Demigod
-
Cave story psp. Guess I'm about 60% in? I just got back to the village after the waterway boss.
Game is pretty good, but the controls feel a little floaty. Not sure if that's just the psp version or how the original controls.
-
Played some Banjo Kazooie with the kid earlier, will try and finish RE5, and start a new round, tonight.
-
I am playing Braid. I hadn't touched it since it first came out and I went back, beat the game, and started a new game. There are some really clever puzzles and it all seems fresh after 8 months. I could see myself playing this once a year or so. Jonathan Blow is still a douchebag, though.
-
Holy shit Ninja Blade is badass.
-
got bored w/ mass effect
went back to titan quest
this time with an archer
-
sacred 2, sacred 2, and sacred 2
sorry wow and dark spire, the former soviet bloc wins again
-
Sacred 2 coming to SUPERIOR console May 12
Two Worlds: Part Deux
-
Ended up just bumming around on 3D Picross all weekend.
I'm about done with that. I'm at like 340 puzzles done
-
sacred 2, sacred 2, and sacred 2
sorry wow and dark spire, the former soviet bloc wins again
The former Soviet bloc as brought us Two Worlds, Stalker, Drakensang, and The Witcher. :omg
-
It took 7 years, but I mustered up enough attention to finally finish Super Mario Sunshine. Kinda not really good game. Why the fuck did they give these characters speech?
-
Pretty much because around that time certain people who didn't know any better were demanding speech and intricate stories in all their games. So they listened, gave Mario and (ugh) Bowser speech, showed those misguided fools their mistake and took it away in the next installment. Zelda and Mario are very much like Chaplin, give them a voice and they loose a bit of that charm. Now if only they could cut out Sonic's tongue.
-
I'd have bought Outrun already but I doubt I'd play that and Burnout Paradise at the same time. And I might wanna get Lode Runner, and def get Banjo Tooie, so I want to hang on to some points.
I've been trying to play Moon but I'm not digging it so much. So I'm pretty much playing Halo 3.
Ok I picked my next game - Overlord
With the sequel possibly coming this year, I have to be prepared
Tell us how it is
