I am going to liveblog my attempts to fix this horrible Outlook-interop-related bug
Wed 4-20-2009 3:54 PM PST : not fixed
Wed 4-20-2009 3:56 PM PST : still not fixed

Wed 4-20-2009 6:56 PM PST: brush off lawyer chick so I can work on this bug
-
I haven't managed to fix it yet, in case you were wondering
-
i am now going to consume another ROCKSTAR™ Brand Energy Drink in preparation for hours 48-72 of my tragically doomed suicide bug-squashing mission
-
Drink Monster or Beaver Buzz.
-
the bug is still there
-
I think you'll get the bug before I get a hug from Flannel Girl.
-
she sounds like the kind of girl who's fairly liberal with hugs, actually. she sounds reminiscent of the girl in this thread (http://www.evilbore.com/forum/index.php?topic=15126.0) who eventually did give me an unsolicited hug.
-
Drink Monster or Beaver Buzz.
actually I've been drinking "Xenergy" and it's like substantially better then Monster, and I've never had Beaver Buzz but its name sounds like all that's bad about Canadian kitsch. Xenergy just takes alot less syrupy then the other drinks.

i demand an update!

last week i was trying to remember what your old usernmae was
i knew it was something weeabootiful
new one's way better and i think it'll help this thread from both a commercial and an aesthetic standpoint if its title is edited accordingly
here's one nobody's around to answer: remember cyanista? what was her old username?

A la Rice? I think that was it. On OA, at least; not sure about here.
-
oh man i'm pretty sure that's right -- i was thinking a la something. what happened to her anyway

Her computer broke (I think) and she never came back. Pretty sure she's an Icon.
She was a good poster and I miss her. Adding Green Shinobi just didn't quite make up for it.

No clue. I barely frequent the boards these days.

I always thought Cyanista was a cool poster, but also assumed (maybe influenced by her avatar) she was probably sort of ugly. Finding out she was actually freakishly beautiful ruined my image of her and I couldn't enjoy her posts in the same way any more :'(
btw I am back at work and working on the same bug, which is currently still present.

Do ugly girls even post on the Internet?

Do ugly girls even post on the Internet?
the ugly ones just don't post pictures of themselves

a cute (but not so cute as to be intimidating) young woman who works at some other company with offices in our building just totally smiled and said hi to me. we didn't actually walk past each other -- it was as she was opening the door to her office, and I was rounding the opposite corner -- so it was a completely gratuitous hi + completely gratuitous eye contact, omg
in other news, the bug still isn't fixed but my boss has called in another programmer, so now we're both caught in the quagmire. we are probably going to end up rewriting half the codebase just to fix this shit

but not from a prosodic standpoint.
-
What kind of material were her cloths made up of? I must know.
-
I don't pay attention to that stuff. she had sort of spiky hair, though
-
but not from a prosodic standpoint.
i can't scan 'recursivelyenumerable's log' but the scudding towards the end is kind of interesting
it might work as a line in some larger poetic unit -- it is a round ten syllables
-
it's iambic pentameter in fact. unfortunately the larger poetic unit in operation here is the forum topics list.
