Hey guys, I figured I'd ask here since I couldn't get it to work myself..
For the past few months I was at home and I could get the media sharing through Tversity to work. From my laptop I went to the router, all with ethernet cable and then to the 360 also through cable. I had no problems whatsoever sharing media through Tversity > 360.
Now I'm at my dads place for a week or so, and it won't recognize the laptop anymore on my 360. I didn't change anything in any settings beforehand and I even did a clean reinstall of Tversity. That didn't work either. I went into the router settings and enabled UPnP, don't have a firewall or Norton on either.
Nothing seems to work and this sucks, cause I want to watch my shows/movies on HDTV instead of my laptop. Maybe someone here will know the answer? Thanks in advance..

dunno about Tversity but i just had same problem with WMP11 (Vista SP1), didn't recogonize my pc even though it worked before.
what i did to fix it: delete 360 media sharing in WMP11 (library --> more options --> configure sharing), reboot 360/pc/router and it's working again.
i also deleted Media Center connection in 360 system settings but i doubt it had any effect but worth a try in any case.
note: and i am using static ip and windows firewall if it matters.

User account control? Sure there's only one account and it's an administrator account.
