I bought laundry detergent today.

But I also sold my Wii.  Good riddance. I hadn't played that thing seriously in maybe 8 months and when people come over nobody wants to play anything on it.  I bought some game on WiiWare that sucked, played it for five minutes, turned it off and thought, "fuck the Wii, I'm selling it."

They went back to the original negatives for the Blu-Ray release. I watched the first episode and it looked good, you can hardly even tell it was shot on 16mm. Check out some comparison shots online, it's like night and day between this and the DVD.

The series is even more hit and miss than twilight zone, but this season has two, count 'em, two Lovecraft adaptations.  Cool Air and Pickman's Model.  Guillermo Del Toro does commentaries on 3 episodes--oddly on neither of the Lovecraft ones.

Also got Skins series 2, which I didn't really need to buy since I've seen it but if I keep giving british people money maybe they will continue releasing shit here

I have three of their bookcases. They're pretty sturdy and good value for the money.

Speaking of good value, these Altec Lansing speakers are well worth the $27. I think they were 70% off.

Title: Re: Buybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuy

the screen was 8.9 inches wide, which is actually a little wider than a regular comic book

when i buy my next netbook (ION) it should have a 10" screen, which would be just about perfect to hold open like a book and read the whole page at once instead of scrolling

i tried the one at the college library but was unsatisfied with the results, plus it took forEVER to do a few pages

there are some guys from the comics newsgroups who scanned in theirs, and while they are readable it is just barely, and they're really only for plugging holes in stuff that hasn't been paper-scanned yet (apparently 98% of the comics DC published have been scanned)

more spells, more paths, more class features, new feats, familiars, epic destinies, rules for tomes, new rituals, arcane backgrounds.

i'm going to start an rpga bard so i wanted to get this book for that.

good review for the book here which pushed me over the edge into buying it

yeah, it just looks huge rotated vertically. honestly I almost wish I'd gotten a 20" widescreen instead but what can you do? nobody makes those anymore.

that's a strange one, because so many of the other releases had tons of remixes and new songs on them, the first release of JBJ was the title track and Kraut, but it was priced the exact same.

Yep, it's the new Manic Street Preachers album. Comes out next week everywhere except for North America, which might get it in like six months if we're lucky. Ended up getting it through Amazon UK.

Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier for the DS. I picked it up the other day, totally ridiculous fanservice game with very little actual Super Robot action. It also uses the battle system from Namco X Capcom.

When the females in your party do their super moves, they all have animations like that.  In one of the animations, you get an almost-upskirt and a titty bounce in the same sequence.  GOTY.

EDIT: NOt that I've played it or ever will./
