Title: Which 360 games do I NEED to see in HD?
Post by: GilloD on December 07, 2006, 04:59:53 PM: You read it. I'm gonna be snagging myself a fancy HD set this weekend and I'm wondering which games really purr in HD. I have Dead Rising, Oblivion, PGR3, GRAW, PSU and Just Cause sitting around. I'll almost certainly snag GoW along with the set. Is there anything I'm missing that's gonna blow my head off?

Also yeah, DR text is all kinds o fucked in SDTV. I guess theyre fixing it for Lost Planet tho, thank god.

However im picking up a 32 inch widescreen hdtv tonight that does 780p so OMG OMG gonna 360 it up lol :)

Gears of War looks fantastic, plays even better.

Viva Pinata looks wonderful in HD, all the colors really come to life, nice sharp edges on all the animated menus and whatnot. Have't tried, JC, Dead Rising or GRAW yet. Keep meaning to pop in Oblivion.

But Just Cause is the king of draw distance and explosions.

I keep meaning to pop Oblivion in. It looked so good before. R6 definitley looks better.

You know, I didn't buy the whole "Get an HD set or don't bother" argument before, but I do now. Mmmm.
