If you don't know the TMNT are celebrating their 25th anniversary and they have a tour going on in the US in which they showed a remake of turtles in time. Right now itsonly for xbox live but they are trying on getting it for Wiiware.

Dumb fucks could've at least tried to make it cellshaded. :(

I know this opens me up to trolling from Demi, but seriously, where's the PSN version?
-
it costs money to host on PSN now. expect people to bail out.
-
PSN has quality control bitches, thats why.
harsh words from someone who got the quality control BOOT
-
I'm going to be sooooo butthurt if a wiiware version doesn't materialise.
-
if the animation is good then i won't care that it is 3d... but that probably isn't gonna happen lol
-

I'd rather they just put the SNES version up on the VC. This version looks ugly enough without jamming it through the Wii-strainer.
With the exception of Yoshi's Island, I don't love snes era blurry res with limited animation.

OMG OMG

BIG APPLE

:hyper

If they include the original with online they could do whatever they want with the 3d version... but looking at the menu choices it seems they weren't that considerate enough.
-
same music means I'm buying this
although why are developers so obsessed with 3D? I would cum in my underwear if this was HD 2D

Because all them youngsters can't handle 2D.

Obligatory...

And yeah, it should have the original graphics as well.
-
Awesome shit.
-
GROSS
-
This could be awesome. What I really want is the original unlockable in this though, on the chance that it sucks.
-
Ohh god, my childhood :'( I remember trading in Super Metroid for Turtles in Time when I was a wee little idiot.

Well, to each their own. How you can prefer sub-par 3D over some of the nicest spritework on the SNES is absolutely beyond me, though.
For real. :bow 16 bit sprites :bow2

Not a terrible trade.
-
oh the humanity :(

Bury my shell at wounded knee!

:yuck :yuck :yuck
Why not just a port of the arcade game? Hell I'd take low-quality Backbone emulation of the original arcade game over this...

Yep. :D

both pics look good (girl and screenshot), I don't get the hate.

Why even do that? People can already play the original game. Go download a ROM then, you would be donig the same thing.

Yoshi's Island is the nicest sprite work of the 16bit era bar none. I have a real hard time thinking of anything else 2d that stands up to todays sprites and animations. A new 2d remake would've been better, I agree, but I think the pic looks fine. I like the grafitti textures and I'm sure it animates well.
-
And who's publishing this? Any chance they could tack it on to the upcoming TMNT Wii game?
-
Probably UbiSoft, they have the license
-
Didn't Ubi put out a 2.5D remake of PoP that was well received? So there is some hope
-
I must have finished this game more than a 100 times back in the day, best co op experience on the snes, I'm gonna go play the rom on my emu after I finish reading the FCBD Ninja Turtles book :rock

It's really unnecessary
-
Oh come on. That looks nice.
-
You should probably kill yourself
-
Oh come on. That looks nice.
It looks totally unpolished.
Everything about this looks so much nicer:

I'd give it a benefit of a doubt that it's Alpha but many demos have given that excuse and the final result is still the same
-
Even if you prefer the arcade version to the SNES version (which I totally understand), do yourself a favor and download it on MAME.
Don't support this half-assed effort.
-
You're high man. It's co-op and on Xbox, everyone must support it. Xbox :flex

Ugh, looks like shit.
And what's with that last picture? Bebop and Rocksteady are the boss of that level, those guys are the mini-bosses of the technodrome level before you even go back in time. >:(
-
Konami is certainly no Capcom when it comes to remakes.

May well be true, but this isn't Konami. It's Ubisoft.
Well that explains it.

It's based on the arcade version, not the SNES version. Therefore Tokka and Rahzar are the bosses of the pirate ship and there is NO Technodrome level.
That's not totally it as apparently there's some licensing nightmare surrounding Bepop and Rocksteady.
-
Ah the Bebop and Rocksteady thing is this: They were basically created for the original animated series, and thus the rights lie there. If they license the series they can use them; otherwise they're off limits. Since the new port isn't based on the original animated series; they don't have to pay licensing fees for the characters and designs, but at the same time can't use Bebop and Rocksteady.
-
Looking at this pics, why isn't this on wiiware too?
-
Yay it's coming to PSN.
