The on-site cafeteria where I work did a "modest" across-the-board price increase. I used to be able to get a small soup for less than a buck, now it's $1.30! A fucking outrage, I tells ya.

Also, since when is a Double Stack from Wendy's $1.29?

I think dollar menu items at all the fast food joints vary by franchise owner, or at least by region. I'm pretty sure the double stack is still .99 here.

Nothing like going through the drive-in stoned to the bone and carrying exact change, only to get dissed and have the person behind you wonder why the fuck it's taking this douchebag in front of them so long to order off the dollar menu.

Only carrying .99$$ in exact change would be another indicator.

I just noticed the other day that McDonald's double cheeseburger is no longer on the dollar menu.

No I mean exact change + tax. I would've still been hosed as California just changed their sales tax to... fuck if I know, but it's fucking up my whole "double the tax to pay 15%" manuever
