Kidnapping Kim Bauer/putting her in danger? No. No. No. Fuck that. Fuck this. Fuck you. Fuck me.
Sure this week's episode was good overall but I'm annoyed that we're into another "do what I say or Kim dies" plot. Seriously. The 2 hour finale would have to be FUCK AWESOME to make me get over this.

kidnapping kim is actually the most original think they've done on the show in awhile. for all the jokes people make about it, this hasn't happened since like season 1 or 2.
and it won't last more than a half hour at most.

I sensed the Kim plot as soon as I saw those two actors at the airport. I have no idea who those two are, but I know they've been in a ton of things. They weren't just there to be extras playing friendly airline passengers.

I thought this was the best season in a looooong time (thanks to (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_O_BWyep8Thg/SYMoXr4aPUI/AAAAAAAAA4k/mA0nj2LATrA/S660/ReneeWalker.jpg)) but jesus, as SOON as they brought back Kim I knew the thing was headed for disaster.

Duh. Initially I thought the guy who was tailing Kim was the kidnapper, but the minute she sat down with that couple I knew something else was up.
Fistfull is right, the Kim kidnap has only been done twice before S7, but it's still the worst device the show has introduced. "Badass' daughter gets kidnapped" is a staple of the action genre sure, just keep it out of my 24.
Like I said on GAF, what is the writing process like for this season? You'd think by now they would get a fucking blackboard and throw a bunch of tired devices on it - mole, Kim kidnap, etc - and ban them. Instead they've used every single one. Overall this has been a good season but this Kim shit could ruin everything. Honestly I want her to die. Then we'll get the truly deranged Jack that appeared in the S1 finale.
