Post by: WrikaWrek on May 14, 2009, 11:28:47 PM
I've tried and tried again. Now i'm drinking this home made shit i did, and good lord, it tastes yuck. I only drink it when i need to keep my senses up but even then it takes a big effort.

How can people happily drink this shit twice and trice and day. And the breath, good lord don't you speak to me maaaiiin.

If it's not your thing it's not your thing.  Why force it?  I can't start a morning without a cup of coffee.  I love the stuff.

If you don't like it, you don't like it. Maybe when you grow up you'll "get" it.

Coffee is best when you add in a liberal dose of creamer, some cinnamon, and a few squirts of chocolate syrup. Delicious.

The funny thing is that once word is out that you're a coffee lover, people start giving you all sorts of flavored abominations for birthdays and Christmas. I don't have the heart to tell them what I really think of flavored coffees and coffee syrups, so I have a ton of "exclusive" blends sitting around.

I have taken a liking to brewing coffee and chilling it overnight, and then add a few drops of cream right before downing it like a shot in the morning. It's one hell of a morning jolt.

Word. I have half a dozen bags  o' grinds in my freezer. They get tapped on the weekends when we don't have any normal brew. Some good, some  :yuck.

If you want to be a twigsexual dork about it, sure. The only flavoring mix I condone is the classic Coffee+Absolut blend.

Seriously though, I wouldn't force myself to like something with as much personality as coffee if I were you. Stick with tea, or you can try iced coffee with liberal amounts of milk.

And if you do decide to stick with it, brew it light at first.

I was just messing around. Coffee comes in handy.

Inviting a girl to a coffee shop is easy as shit. It looks stupid when you don't drink it though, so you gotta bite the bullet.

Straight coffee is way too bitter for me, but I like the way coffee tastes once it's been toned down a bit.

What are you using to brew it? If you're steeping or percolating it, you can control the taste quite a bit by how long you let it steep.

Some people drop some wiskey on it, i'm gonna try that. It's hard to do that in a coffee shop though, without looking like a moron.

You are using some pretty technical expressions. I'm hitting my ceiling as far as my grip on english goes. Tell you what, at home i have this coffee package that comes in glass.

Then i pick up a mug, put water in it, i don't fill it up, i guess i do 2/3s and then i put it in the microwave because it has this coffee option. Then i drop 1 or 2 or even 3 tea spoons if i need an adrenaline shot for the night, because that Redbull shit just tastes wrong man.

3 tea spoons is like drinking death though, even with two packs of sugar. I gotta do it like i did when i was a kid with the milk in powder, close that nose son, close that nose, and just drink it like a shot, don't stop can't stop.

I don't drink coffee except to be sociable at work morning tea.  You get used to it.

Maybe make sure you have good coffee as I think decent ground coffee tastes vastly different to instant stuff.

Coffee maker for less than $25 bucks.  It doubles as an alarm clock.  If the whole world drank instant coffee, nobody would like it.

Pretty much. Instant coffee is pretty vile, feels like drinking the sludge from coffee that has been left on the burner for far too long.  :yuck
