This is great, I've known of this before, but back when I was into it a bit there wasn't a great database online for it.
www.archive.org is great!
a shit ton of old horror movies are on here. I'm downloading The Satanic Rites of Dracula (Christopher Lee & Peter Cushing) at the moment, but there is an amazing list of old horror movies. If anyone is interested in old horror movies like I am, just thought I'd give everyone a heads up!
enjoy! :)
:lol I sound like a fucking advertisement. MY BAD!
...oh and Mupepe!

Satanic Rites is a good one.
when I looked into it a few years ago, it was def in the "meh" stage, but then they had the same host of public domain things you'd find in dollar dvd bins

There is an awesome site where you could stream a lot of PD movies but they started the distinguished mentally-challenged "your country is not good enough to watch this movie" bullshit so I stopped going, I think the site is freemoviesonline.com or something like that.

Yeah, double-amen. Though I don't understand the baby crying sound effect at the end of it. What the hell was that supposed to mean?

Also, a worthy head-up: Night of the Living Dead is public domain, thanks to a distributor fuckup (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_of_the_Living_Dead#Copyright_status). This is probably why there are so many derivative works popping up in the past couple years.
