Title: I got a government job today...

I help people determine eligibility for food stamps and stuff, plus some admin work, but hey, I'm employed now. :hyper

Best day ever.

Poor troll FoC. I was just going to post that you will probably come into this thread just to say this forum is in favour of big government because most of us are in cushy public sector jobs.

My sister-in-law who lived in Morocco for three years (Peace Corps) just finished her Master's Program at Georgetown and got a government job because of that. Her interview was in English, French and Arabic. She'll be working out of D.C. but going to Burkina Faso and Morocco from time to time.

None at all. She was fluent in French before she and her husband joined the Peace Corps, but had no exposure to Arabic previously.

She's also one of those annoying people who easily picks up new languages.

I'm doing that. Well except for the cushy gig bit, that would be a waste of my amorality. Have fun with broken plurals and learning a dialect.
