Title: Is there anyway to get rid of ITunes' draconian DRM from video files?
Post by: Joe Molotov on May 27, 2009, 03:56:13 PM
I've got all these "Digital Copies" laying around, but they're all crammed up the butt with Apple DRM so you can't really do anything with them. I've been looking around the internet, but all the solutions seem unreliable or cost $40. Have you guys come across anything that works?

Around the same time you'll be able to play FLACs in iTunes

Are these the digital copies that have been coming bundled with Blurays of late?

Yeah. I bought a few BD's with digital copies, and actually what I was hoping to do is sync them up with their Rifftrax, and then burn them to a DVD for easy viewing. I've already watched them on my computer, but it's nice have a DVD back-up, especially if you want to show it to a friend.

It's Twilight and The Happening, btw  :shh

I suppose in retrospect it would have been easier to just download a torrent, or at the very least, rent the DVD and rip it, but I got them really cheap so it's no big loss.
