better than madworld
That's not saying much.

So it could read the motion prompts correctly. And no, game was trash, but I'll check out the sequel.
This isn't a madworld thread btw, we're either talking nmh2 or how much the first sucked.

It did read the motion prompts correctly. There were like, four of them.

There were multiple prompts with two different inputs total. Either waggle indiscriminately (finishers, wrestling moves), or waggle up and down (doesn't matter which way the clash circle rotates). You don't even have to pay attention. The tilt combos worked.

Shit game.
-
I was not a fan of this game
-
First game was alright. They need to make all the boss battles play like the last two of the first game. The other boss battles were really boring to play.

looks awesome! lol, @ the dude chucking the ho's at Travis

The first game was half baked. This looks a little better but I don't really care how it turns out 'cause I'll just pass on it anyway.

Demi knows what's up.

I have this on a mix CD I play at the job. One of my coworkers is a Suda51 enthusiast and was quite amused when it came on.

My only slight sadness is that the gameplay looks IDENTICAL, which is a shame because Suda not making sequels meant every game he did was really original and let him use his creativity. This looks like his creativity will be limited to the cutscenes and boss fights.
But, No More Heroes was pretty darn great even if it wasn't as good as Killer 7. NMH has the most imagination of anything on the Wii. The part where the game turns into a SHMUP for one of the stages is fucking brilliant. So NMH2 should still rock. But I hope he gets NMH out of his system with this and makes another original game after it.

he already is making an original game-
In August 2008 Electronic Arts announced a deal to publish an as yet untitled action horror game developed by Grasshopper in conjunction with Q Entertainment. The project will be directed by Suda and produced by Shinji Mikami for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and PC

Cool. So we get a great sequel and then a great original Suda title next year.
Win Win.

Ok, I'm on the hype train. M+ is in.
