its in round 3 now so ill catch you guys up:

all of the americans except for andy roddick are out already

serena williams and jalena are battling for the #1 ranking, serena said in interviews "everybody knows who the real #1 is :smug"  jankovic comes back in another interview and says shes jealous, in order for serena to reclaim the #1 spot she would have to make it to the finals if jankovic drops out in the previous round, if jalena makes it to the finals she will keep her spot, womens tennis becomes relevant for the first time since the williams sisters first showed up/the 80s, if only for the lulz and catfights

federer almost lost his match yesterday to a virtual nobody, had to fight back in 5 sets to win

nadal and lleyton hewitt (who i have eaten breakfast w/) are on right now on ESPN2, match of the century folks, will probably be more interesting than the final

thats all i can think about for now, this is turning out to be an interesting tournament

I really like Roddick, but let's face it...he's a bit past his prime, and on clay he's like a turtle on its back.

Roddick has one of the sickest serves I've seen, though.  That's what gets him so deep into tourneys anymore
