HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE
-
mp3 music?
-
Probably the code required for the connectivity with the new game. That's the only possible reason.
-
Does it have coop

Who did the port? If id did, I'd doubt it as Carmack has been against adding any multiplayer to Wolf3D.
-
Looks like the game is IP locked in Japan. Thanks for not letting me give you any money, Microsoft
-
IP locked here too. so distinguished mentally-challenged
-
Why would they IP lock Wolf3D???
-

It has a video for the new game bundled.
-
awesome, earning achievements gets you money to use on upgrades in the new wolfenstien
-
maybe
-
Out on XBLA, not up on PSN yet.
-
The game has aged better than I anticipated. It runs silky smooth and still has that early 3d pixel charm. Looking at the demo I'm taking that Spear of Destiny isn't included in this.
-
Nope just the 6 episodes. I'm playing on DEATH INCARNATE

I HATE THIS TO DEFF.
It probably starts with some distribution contract with a Japanese publisher pointing to their old licensing contract for distributing the game, pointing out that it's still within the license period, that XLBA is a competitor to that agreement, and they'll happily sign a new contract which extends the licensing period and allows for XBLA distribution for a mere 20% of total sales. Or maybe they just point to the contract and shake their heads, and don't even negotiate because it's not worth the discussion time to appease the less-than-five-guys who have a 360 in Japan who wanted this game.

Actually it looks pretty junky, they didn't use the nice redrawn Atari Jaguar/MacOS sprites, plus there is no multiplayer. Might as well play this on the ol' PSP instead
