Mr. Baseball was a really accurate movie about Japan when I watched it as an exchange student in 2001.

That's just in Kabuki-Cho.  They are training hosts and prostitutes the deadly art of ninjitsu in preparation for an all-out attack on Roppongi.

Actually, Black Rain was primarily filmed in Osaka. There's a shot in Umeda, and another on the pre-renovation Dotonbori-bridge.
