I fucking hate when people do that.
I fucking hate when people do that.
Apologize for pedophiles/defend loli.
For god's sake people, can't you utilize your "freedom of speech" for something better than that?
I think you quoted the wrong person.
Apologize for pedophiles/defend loli.
And racism imo. For god's sake people, can't you utilize your "freedom of speech" for something better than that?
I HATE when people edit their post to quote a post after theirs. I fucking hate that.
Not only is it rude to the quoted poster (because it blows their load before readers get to their post), but it's annoying to read because you scroll back up convinced you missed the quoted post and wonder what else you missed.
Twats. Thank god we don't do that here.
???Do a lot of white people die in kite festivals?
It's the asbestos of the 00s.

the whole point of freedom of speech is protecting speech that is unpopular, etc.
Racism should stay unpopular, even lose protection, but that's just MY OPINION SO LET ME HAVE IT.
^ My second most hated thing on the internet. Sorry dude, but I'll give you shit for saying stupid because I'M FREE TO SAY WHAT I WANT! (see what I did there? It's like a loop).
you're allowed to have that opinion just as long as you don't try to force it on someone else.
Like how pedophilia and loli rape is wrong? sure.
Ugh I know right? I used to scroll back up and a page back to try to find the quoted post and then ending up finding it just one post below it. Pissed me off so much. I guess people do it because they are AFRAID to post twice in a short time.

what the fuck are you talking about. we're talking about racists speaking racist speech. what does rapists and pedophiles have to do with it?
And I'm talking about pedophilia and loli rape apologists using that same right. I just feel like certain things shouldn't have the right of being protected. You need to calm down, we're talking about "things we hate" not what we want to be changed immediately.
@ malek
There's a difference between being a pedophile and actually going out and raping children. It's just like how some people believe that gay men want to have sex with all other men, which obviously isn't true.
I'm sure there are plenty of pedophiles out there who don't act on their urges and actually try to get help. Unfortunately, society has no sympathy for these people. Why would someone choose to be a pedophile?
@ jinfash
You were saying how you hate when people infringe on your opinions, but by criticizing pedophile/loli-defenders and racists, aren't you infringing on their opinions?
I'm just playing the devil's advocate here.
That's why edited that post, it was a bit confusing, but what I was trying to say is that I hate people fuming over others arguing their opinions (which is what I explained in the other post). I tried demonstrating that but failed, mainly because I suck at creating those type of sarcastic and witty posts.
I guess you guys can feel proud now that you shitted Bildi's thread up.
Speaking of "IMO"
I hate when I give an opinion and someone quotes me and then adds "IMO" to my comment, as if people can't tell that "Van Halen is boring" or the "wii sucks" are not factual comments.
Yeah, this thread seemed to inspire a lot of hatred.
:teehee
I still don't know what you guys are on about.
Another thing I hate - when heaps of thread are concurrently getting shitted up with American politics.
There's a difference between sarcasm and trolling.This.
The problem is that sarcasm only works on the Internet when you know the user and know what his beliefs are. Otherwise, how do you know whether a stupid comment was made sarcastically?
-newfagging (example: spamming "never change gaf, lol" in an unfunny thread)
- Pushing social agendas in unrelated threads (i.e., Atheists, console partisans)
I hate the direction this thread is taking.

Drives me shitbat crazy when people take a tone interacting with others that they'd never take if they were present, face-to-face. The whole "brave at a distance" effect that the internet lends just masks the worst kind of social cowardice.
The amount of an asshole a person is is directly proportional to the distance they are away from you at the time you discover this fault. Someone on TV is <yells> 'REALLY AN ASSHOLE!' Someone in the car next to you is <loudly> 'Pretty much of an asshole.' A guy standing next to you on line, <whispers> 'This guy's a real asshole.'"

People whose posts read like a Pitchfork review.
Forum nerds insulting other people for being nerdier, or having nerdier interests than them.
Need I remind you that YOU ARE STILL POSTING ON A VIDEO GAME FORUM?

I would agree with that if people like furries didn't exist. There are certain levels of nerdom that just go beyond the pale and make regular nerds look bad.
People outside of diablos still do this?
It's you're own fault, really.People outside of diablos still do this?
I made the mistake of going into a Siamese Dream thread recently.

Why don't you expect atheists in a thread about religion? Religious people make claims that atheists clearly disagree with. Do people have the same expectations about non-libertarians staying away from threads about libertarianism? Or conservatives staying away from threads about liberalism? Why should religion be shielded from criticism, questioning, and even mocking?
Depends.
An atheist posting in a general "Hay guys let's talk religion!" topic belongs there just as much as anyone else.
An atheist letting everyone else know they're living a lie in The Kosher Recipe Exchange Thread is just being a dick.
Which one of those does he do I don't usually go into GAF music threads.
