The demo is fantastic.  It's basically a 2D platformer where you have 3 different characters that you use together to get through the level.  Full game is out on July 10th for PC and sometime later for consoles.

also, other PC stuff:  Battlefield Heroes is finally released, so no more beta, and there is an ARMA2 demo, which is incredibly janky in a East European PC game sort of way.

Cool demo, but its pretty lame that the wizard has no attack whatsoever (dropping boxes doesn't count since it takes too long)

Not sure I like Battlefield Heroes, but I'll play it for a bit. Feel free to add me: Kestastrophe

I think you get new spells and abilities as the game progresses.  I'm sure the wizard will have a nuke spell or something in the full game.  I found a +5% mana ring in the demo and was really :hyper

battlefield is frustrating. Your character moves soooooo sloooooooooowwwwww. i purchased some clothes for my guy and exited out, but it didn't save anything. Anyone know how I can save my character's appearance? Also, being unable to change your character in-game is lame, as is the lag. I know the game is free, but it just feels sloppy, especially for a game that has been in beta since last year.

Why are they charging more for the PC version?
Isn't that backwards :(

I'll get it on PSN for the trophies and lower price IF the graphics don't take a big hit.  But PS3 so.........

The pricing and features of this game are a mess.

360 doesn't have a price confirmed yet, but it will have online co-op at launch.
PC version is normally $40, but $30 on steam and it comes with Shadowgrounds (normally $10).
PS3 version is $20.

All three versions have local co-op and, apparently, they will patch online to PC and PS3 at some point.

I already bought the the Steam version.  I don't even know what shadowgrounds is, I just hope it's also good.

Shadowgrounds is quite good. Trine+ Shadowgrounds for $30 is a good deal, hey look pc wins again.

Is Shadowgrounds a twin-stick shooter, or do you aim more with the mouse?

Trine demo was excellent -- the price is a bit of a bummer though.

Their website makes no mention of a 360 version, btw.

so, this game just came out on Steam and now costs $20.  But I pre-bought it, so payed $30 and got Shadowgrounds for "free"  :-\

the release situation for this game is so weird

ok, apparently the $20 price on steam is a mistake and it's supposed to be $30

I'd buy if it was 20 or less.

Hey swaggaz, have you beat it yet?  If so, how long did it take you?

I had the game on pause for maybe an hour at one point, but Steam says about 7 hours.  So, at most it's 7 hours long.

I really liked the game.  I'm probably going to play it some more because it saves all your upgrades when you finish and each puzzle is designed so that you could get through using any of the three characters.
