I just got stuck replacing a broken 8800gt.  The new GTX 275 is pretty great, but I was really hoping to wait to upgrade to a real DX11 card :gloomy
PC Gaming is a harsh master, but it's so nice when it's all working and you're on the bleeding edge.  I hope these images are legit and we actually see games looking like this.  The current situation makes me doubt that many devs will be eager to push things forward until the next X-Box comes out though.

It'll be at least 100FPS since they are all going to be held back by art assets made for dirty poor console owners.

someone did a comparison of the Crysis 2 stuff shown on consoles to Crysis, and it turns out that the stuff made with consoles in mind are roughly around medium setting for PC; not even regular high.
