Title: Lazy Sundays: The thread of doing nothing, really
Post by: muckhole on June 28, 2009, 01:03:22 PM: The gf's away for the weekend at her family's, and I have the day off. I'm cat-sitting at her place in my shorts drinking coffee and being lazy. I don't have anywhere to be until much later tonight. The cat is snoozing beside me, having a dream and twitching occasionally. Catching up on the bore, might fire up some Fight Night or Sacred 2 here shortly, just to live on the edge.

Anyone else spending the day doing nothing? And if not, why not?

My busiest times are usually the weekends, but I do get every other sunday off, and today is exceptionally rare because I have nothing to do, nowhere to be.

We had a big storm last night. Went to clean out the skimmer today and pulled half a fucking tree out of it.

Also, we let the shibas swim with us yesterday, so it was full of dog hair too. The filter's probably exploding right now. :heartbeat pool maintenance

Now I'm melting into the couch, which hurts my sunburn, but I'm too lazy to move.

Turns out that I broke my wrist, so my left hand/arm is in a cast for the next month, and seeing as I can't work with one hand I've been sitting around at home watching KOTH and Seinfeld reruns, reading, playing Starcraft (in preparation for the sequel's release this year :hyper) and getting high.

Next week I have to start looking for another job :'(

Oh right sorry, forgot to mention what I actually did today. Watched Defiance, pretty good flick. Ate some old pizza. Watched like 12 episodes of The IT Crowd. Took dinner to girl. Watched an episode of MASH. Watched Coraline. Yawned and texted all in between the aforementioned.
