Title: Phantasy Star IV is pretty cool!

Reminds me of Dragon Quest!

They remade the Phantasy Stars (1, 2, and 4) on PS2 in Japan... they didn't bring it here though :'(

Post by: Human Snorenado on December 12, 2006, 01:30:38 AM: Man, what a great game. I always loved the REAL PS games (fuck the online ones) so much more than the comparable era FFs and DQs. Just liked the sci fi setting and hard as nails gameplay.

Sega am fuck total stupid for not ever doing another real PS, although they did give us the awesome Skies of Arcadia.

Also I agree that Sega needs to release another REAL Phantasy Star game. But see, that would make sense, and Sega is against doing that kind of thing.

Phantasy Star 4 is a good game, it's just a nicely set up RPG that takes some good skill to beat if you play it right through.

I'm always made fun of because I actually level up in RPGs. Denise always talks shit to me "Well you didn't REALLY beat it.. you ran around and leveled up instead of constantly going through the story."

Apparently she can be ~level 38 at the end and beat PS4...
