Basically Im in love with your Bill Pullman speech ID4 poster you made and I'd love to print out an A4 of it and put it up at home or at work.
Would you be willing to share the file with me and EB? Please?
Just in time for 4th of July!

Sorry, just saw this now because of your PM!
Unfortunately, this is the only version I've got left:

I lost the original high-res file when I accidentally told active directory that my account used a mandatory profile :duh
And now I can't find that smarmy picture of Bill Pullman anywhere.

Best Presidential speech - fake or otherwise - in the history of America.

So I was listening to Cake's version of "I Will Survive" when I read this, got to the last line of the speech, and lol'd.

It truly is.

Anyone else hear the Independence Day theme after reading that?
"The speech in which Whitmore states that victory in the coming war would see the entire world henceforth describe July 4 as its independence day, was described as "the most jaw-droppingly pompous soliloquy ever delivered in a mainstream Hollywood movie" in a BBC review.[68] In 2003, readers of the United Kingdom's most popular movie magazine Empire voted the scene that contained the speech as the "Cheesiest Movie Moment of All-Time" " :lol
I saw it on TV yesterday and watched the end. The part where the spaceship moves over Area 51 needs the clip of "Enemy MOTHERSHIP APPROACHING" from the surfer sounding sidekick in Starfox 64.

Where's the Idiocracy one?
-
If you can find where I posted that at GAF (good luck, as I can't remember at all), someone has the Idiocracy speech there.

Watched the movie last night for the first time since it was in the theaters. Never noticed it before but damn whomever did the score for that movie owes John Williams some royalties. Seemed like a really blatant (albeit competent) rip-off of the Star Wars themes.

Then Williams should also pay the estate of Holst for the rip-off job he did on The Planets symphony.
