A short press conference just on ESPN News revealed there were two victims, McNair and an as-yet-unidentified woman, at McNair's home. No other details.
-
Damn. That sucks. RIP.
-
Latest details say McNair was shot multiple times, once in the head. The woman was not his wife, but a 20 year old "friend" who was cited this week for a DUI with McNair in the car, an Escalade they somehow co-owned. Interesting tidbit, that. She was shot once in the head, pistol nearby. And the condo they were found in was not the family home, but rather a condo McNair rented along with somebody else.
-
Pissed off wife?
-
They say she's not a suspect. Very distraught.
Could be a murder-suicide. Also, have they verified the whereabouts of former NJ Net Jayson Williams?
-
terrible news
-
fuck, always loved watching him play. RIP :-\
Murder-suicide, or set up?
-
The woman was a waitress at Dave & Busters. Police have no leads yet, but they are trying to find the victim's Fun for a round of questioning.

Could be a murder-suicide.
That's definitely what is sounds like:
-McNair shot four times
-Female friend shot once in the head
-Gun found under the female friend's body
-
I liked how as soon as it was found out that this woman was his 20-year-old mistress (with a DUI, no less!) that he bought a car and a condo for, this stopped getting major headliner play.
It's not even the major story on ESPN.com!
