I just have to delete Vista once I get it and install XP.If you plan on running Windows 7, you may want to wait on that
Speaking of blizz games, am I the only person completely unable to get into Starcraft while HEARTING Diablo 2 and Warcraft 2 and 3?Nope, same here. I've played through all of WC3 and expac, plus Diablo II multiple times, but I can't really get into SC.

I also forgot to recommend the Witcher

I think I will pick this latop after I sell off my current one and maybe my netbook. 15" is small enough to carry around.
You were a manager for fucks sake, you should be using MacBooks and other Apple hardware exclusively.
Ys: Oath in Felghana + translation patch 8)
secondedYs: Oath in Felghana + translation patch 8)
Link to that
To all the people that didnt like SC, did you play it when it came out?
Get Oblivion, fuck what anyone says, it's awesome.:bow
That is the best Diablo clone out there. Sacred comes close too.
Like, I'm level 5 in the demo and I've killed 9999 enemies but not one has blown up into a pile of hamburger.
One of the disappointing things about this game's demo so far, aside from the fact enemies don't get blown up into chunks when I use certain skills, is the loot. In Diablo 2 you get 9999 loot at the beginning of the game, but in this I continue to get boring shit. Is this indicative of the real game?
How is SimCity 4?
I don't know why, but I got the urge to check out Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. How is it? it's only $20 on steam. I heard there were a ton of patches that made it better post-release
sounds good
um, but which patch do I need to get? I'm gonna buy it tomorrow so I don't know what Steam downloads with. I know there is that official one and the unofficial one.
ok, thanks. I'll probably end up going for the one with less bugs/less content unless the added stuff seems worth it.
Been testing out demos to games I've been wanting to play for YEARS.
TITAN QUEST
From the demo this is a Diablo clone from head to toe and I wouldn't want it it any other way, because although I really love Diablo 2 it could REALLY use a graphic update. I'm usually not vain like that, but fuck. This will tide me over till Diablo 3. :rock
Even though it's a really good Diablo clone it still doesn't compare. Like, I'm level 5 in the demo and I've killed 9999 enemies but not one has blown up into a pile of hamburger.
Diablo 3 needs to come out NOW. But overall, it helps the game takes place in Greece. Greek architecture/lore/history is awesome so I'm able to get my mythology boner on while playing this, which is a bonus.

Look at this manly brute. He's ready to rape all who oppose him, even men!

I do like how they ripped Diablo's inventory system like, I mean, they ripped it. It looks EXACTLY THE SAME. So does the damn shop windows and stuff. Damn. When THQ went to make a DIablo clone they really did it.
I said in the post that it's a DEMO. I don't have TQ.
What's so good about TQ expansion?
Camo actually works?
how different is the game if you play as one of those lanky bat creatures?
My PC is so horrendous that I couldn't even run Europa Universalis 3 decently. :-\ :-\
I'm still having trouble grasping Civ4 concepts. EU3 makes my head spin. :dizzy
I dled Europa Universalis 3 demo from steam and it just goes back to steam. Guess I'll dl from a direct link.
i dled king's bounty demo frag :D
Haven't tried it out yet though dude. I'll let you know what I think of it.
I like the premise of Sins but I think the whole thing is going WAYYYY over my head.
And I have Civ IV + all expansions. Have had it for a long time.
I've got the TLR demo from steam but it's a hassle playing without a gamepad. The next time I boot it up I'm going to plug my ps3 controller into my computer to see if that'll work.
would prefer it if bloodlines wasn't first person but then it didn't hinder fallout
Himu did you stop playing WOW?
I am looking at rockstar games section of steam because i love rockstar.
and i see gta2 on it. I don't have gta2 for pc, i've got it for psx. so i look at the price and...
29.99
:lol

Having done it as third-person from the beginning definitely would have given it better combat.
I installed 6.0 unofficial and it worked.
combat isn't that bad. Melee and vampire magic stuff is fine; the guns are terrible. It's the worst realization of guns + rpg I've played in a while.

The last hour or two of the game falls off a cliff quality wise.

IIRC, guns are almost necessary to beat the final boss, but it has been several years since I played. The last hour or two of the game falls off a cliff quality wise.
why play the ps2 game on an emulator? just use a cps3 emulator and play the arcade versioncombat isn't that bad. Melee and vampire magic stuff is fine; the guns are terrible. It's the worst realization of guns + rpg I've played in a while.

maybe when I'm done upgrading things I care about I'll get around to fixing my gun skills

edit: downloading a torrent with all of it's games, dunno which emulator is the best, i got this one: http://nebula.emulatronia.com

I can't get into Sins - it seems to have a ridiculously steep learning curve, and the bland tutorial offered in the demo doesn't help. I have yet to try out the King's Bounty demo, I was liking Company of Heroes demo until they introduced bases (was hoping for an rts that didn't rely on resources or base building but...nope! :yuck :yuck :yuck) but Civ IV is making my pants wet every time I boot it up.
Why can't I play more pc strategy games like Civ? :'( It has this certain formula that makes me adore it. Maybe I should just reinstall Warcraft 3.
Anyone have any impressions of Anno 1404?
