Oh, right, it's a TV movie. It this show called Meteor and it stars Jason Alexander and Stacy Keach doing...basically nothing.
There's a girl led around by a psychotic girl, a scientist girl being held by Mexican prisoners, some kids stuck in a hospital with their mom, another girl wandering in an old woman's house, a cop being threatened by a store owner for not paying insane prices for water and stuff, Jason Alexander staring at a computer and pretending to be smart, Stacy Keach driving around in his cop car and pretending to be shocked at the various things he sees, a black guy and white guy being dismayed by a lock on a gate they need to get through, and some other stuff I think. That's about all the movie is about. Sometimes a meteor will hit something, but that doesn't happen very often.
Awesome! Jason Alexander just got smashed by a ventilation pipe. That was about all they could show of that particular meteor strike because the budget is so incredibly small.
Anyone else watching this mess? I think I've only watched about five minutes, but I'm already bored out of my mind.

I wanted an Armageddon hate thread.

jason alexander's career... :'(

Everyone on Seinfield was doomed to typecasting. Even the small recurring characters. Maybe they all should've used their real name like Jerry

This movie makes Armageddon look like Apocalypse Now.
Here I thought you were watching Deep Impact.
I'd even settle for that, at least it's only 2 hours long. I forgot to mention before, but this Meteor movie is FOUR HOURS LONG and that's WITHOUT the commercials.

Same here.
Saw Deep Impact in the theater and the film kept catching on fire. Middle of the movie, we'd watch the film melt & burn up. Thought it was part of the movie (hoped it was the end of the movie, but it was only halfway through. :'( Then they fixed it.. :bawl)
