Dude. My 10 year old could swap a power supply. It's not like you're talking about pasting the heat tranferral thingamajigger to the CPU block or anything. Sac up.

threads like this scare me lol. My computer has been chuggin along fine for awhile now. Had it since middle of last November iirc, or early December. I'll have to check my warranties as well. I know the CPU and video card have 2+ year warranties. Dunno about the PSU

Ah. A shuttle. Glad I didn't get one of those when I was thinking about it.

Doesn't Sparkle make power supplies that will fit into a Shuttle pc?

edit - found this (http://www.atxpowersupplies.com/200-watt-power-supply-FSP200-50PLA2.php) link where you can pick one up for 65.00.  I am sure you can find one cheaper.  Those Shuttles are kind of nice....had a few myself over the years.

I had my old computer hooked into the wall and it constantly ran into problems. Now that I have this one hooked to a surge protector I'm doing good.

What kind of garbage parts are you people buying? I've never had a computer suffer from any kind of hardware failure in my entire life.

Do you have the PC connected to a decent power surge or battery backup? Power spikes/irregularities can be pretty shitty.

Gee, nothing bad ever happens in slime's life, what a surprise.

jinxed

Hearing some weird, low creaking noises from the computer, dunno exactly where it's coming from. It's running fine though.

edit: seems to be one of the fans, at least I hope
