Title: Do any of you guys rock a bow tie?

I've been thinking about rocking a bow tie for some fun distinction.  Have any you guys experimented with bow ties outside your prom night or bar mitzvah?

I saw this on The Satorialist and it kinda got my creative juices going.

I take it down a notch. The only time one should ever wear a bowtie is with a tuxedo. A nice tuxedo.

The new Doctor is apparently going to be wearing one...  but I think it looks like crap.  :/

Not even Doctor Who can save the bowtie.  It's a goofy, gimmick accessory like a monocle.....it will always and forever be stuck in the same weird niche. It's just a weird affectation for attention-seekers.

The only time bow ties look half decent is with a full tuxedo, worn for "black tie" events.

We have socially evolve to a point where we don't need bow ties, hopefully ties are going next, hate those things.

My uncle does, but the look works for him.  He's a law professor and has the whole "academia" look going for him.  Cap, bow tie, pipe...all that stuff.
