Nier? I seriously doubt it's that. This is most likely the game that Nobuo Uematsu is behind (he's composing for 3 SE games, this is likely one of them).

as they eventually figured out in the GAF thread, it is most likely a sequel to Lord of Vermilion.

Lame. It probably is related to LoV. And Uematsu is almost definitely involved too.
