Maybe you should have gotten those items I requested before you quit, and then I wouldn't have put some bad ju ju on your system.

My first Xbox360, that I've had since March 2006, overheated and shutoff today while I was playing Saints Row 2. It still works though.

was it a falcon?  did you install your games or play them from the disc?  just curious.  I've had a falcon system since last July that I've only played installed games from since NXE leaked.

It'll die soon enough unfortunately.

Nah, man, it's done this before. Like, at least a dozen times and over the course of probably two years.

Was it that error 74 code or was it just the plain ol' three red rings?

Can anyone beat Cohen's record?  I think five consoles is pretty impressive even for the 360.

Maybe he's been setting the 360's on a wine cooler

My third one's been going for ages - like a couple of years or something.  It's a freak of nature.

My first Elite lasted about 2 to 2&1/2 years. My replacement is still working like a pro.

If they aren't gonna fix the problem they might as well give achievement points out for every 2 dead ones

My 360 is a launch console.  It's still running.  On a rare occasion I'll get a red ring (though obviously not o' death).  The disc tray sometimes needs to be jiggled a bit to eject.  And last week the center green light on the power button was flashing until I reset the console.  I kind of wish it would break so I'd have an excuse to get me a new low priced Elite for HDMI goodness.

Also my PS2 is a launch model in great working condition, though in all fairness it didn't work the day I bought it and I had to send it in to have the optical drive fixed.  Been working like a champ since then, though I don't use it anymore because....

.... I have my launch 60 GB PS3 which I actually bought as a refurbished model for $300 a couple years ago.

Also my launch PSP still works though I need to find a 1st party replacement battery since I hacked mine and the 3rd party battery I have now doesn't last very long and doesn't tell the PSP how much juice it has left... it just dies when it runs out of power.

I noticed you had me on ignore, so I've been trolling your posts for some time now. All in good fun. Nothing personal.  :)

Another one down. Maybe I should just give up on console gaming.

Counting used and refurbs, I think that was my 7th 360. Absolutely ridiculous. Either I get a new Arcade, or put the money towards a slim.

Just had my red ring cherry popped over the weekend.  The feeling is bittersweet.
