Title: I need to buy a new laptop, papangus
Post by: Human Snorenado on August 11, 2009, 07:38:33 PM: I'd like to get something that will run Diablo 3. I know, I know, specs aren't out yet and blah blah blah. Whatever.

Here are my requirements:

-must run Diablo 3
-should be around $1k
-must be available from newegg, as I've got a 2500 line of credit through them

Suggestify.

It has a dedicated 1GB GPU, which I'm sure is enough for Diablo 3. Blizzard is usually good in terms of optimization.

I'd make sure it at least has a dedicated videocard. I wouldn't want to try running D3 on some $399 integrated system.

I need a new laptop anyway, and I'm trying to improve my credit score and buying this with my newegg line of credit and then paying it down is a good way to do that.

You can get the Himumu special, which is the new gen version for 1100$ with a downclocked graphics card. Do enjoy. Still a deal.
