Title: Taco trucks are awesome.
Post by: Rman on August 17, 2009, 02:44:54 AM
I had some tripe tacos at taco truck I recently discovered. It was amazing. NYC and the outlying areas aren't know for great Mexican food. SoCal has us beat in that area soundly, however, along with the some great authentic joints in Queens, the taco trucks springing up here are killing it.
Can't wait to try the pork tongue and pork ear tacos.

After some changes to Seattle's street food laws in the last couple years, we're getting awesome food trucks that aren't just taquierias.

The Skillet airstream trailers get parked by my house all the time after they're done for the day. They're typically there when I'm leaving for work in the morning, and I'm always tempted to wait until they show up and ask for breakfast.

I couldn't ever get into the idea of taco-trucks. Their fried stuff is always so sketchy and homogeneous tasting. I feel like if I ever got food poisoning from one of them, they'd just drive away into the sunset.
Speaking of food poisoning, how does Jack in the Box stay in business?
