I never eat McDonalds, but I actually like a Big Mac & fries and would probably eat most of their burgers.
However, anything they do with muffins, eggs, bacon etc... basically breakfast stuff... :-X
Their fries are really good if you get them fresh and cooked properly. This happens like once a year at the McDs by me. 90% of the time you get old cold and discolored fries which are gross and you throw out.

If I knew ahead I would have said no mayo. I love mushroom swiss burgers, I always have it when I eat a restaurant if they offer.

A&W not good enough for you? :maf
At least we have Tims. That makes up for everything.

Maybe we could replace one of the Tims on every single corner in this country for a Five Guys, Whataburger, Hardee's, White Castle's, Sonic, Carl's Jr., or Jack in the Box.
Do they both fill up at busy times? It's more likely they just needed to expand.
ugh, i had one of those - the mushroom swiss one. and they put mayonaisse on it. i about vomited.Wtf, I just had this and it was delicious :drool Then again, mine didn't have very much mayo.

You've never had a western bacon cheeseburger before? Are you really American?!??
I eat one burger a week. It always a double with pepperjack cheese.

They're building a five guys in a nearby shopping center. Never ate at a Five Guys so I'll try to broaden my horizons.

Pickles are fucking disgusting. I've always hated them, I'm not really sure why. They just make me feel sick. I felt bad after I ate a burger that had pickles on it that I picked off because I still tasted pickle. :-\
I'm what my mother calls a purist. I hate my foods to touch. I like my burgers plain. I don't put mustard or ketchup on a hot dog. I just never have. I prefer it.
Also, my two chef friends tell me I have the palate of a 5 year old. :'(

five guys is my favorite of the chain burgers. people hate on their fries too, but that's just because they've never tried cajun. :bow

The term for this is "finicky eater," which probably means you weren't "encouraged" (forced) to eat things you didn't like or weren't interested in, right?
There are some decent local places for burgers, but I usually end up making my own - take about 1/2 pound of ground sirloin, dice up some onions, and marinate the meat with soy sauce, teriyaki, a dash of worcestershire, cayenne pepper, parsley flakes, and black pepper. Serve on a toasted bun with diced tomatoes and onions, and a piece of lettuce.
