The three year warranty is, and they're sending a label (and coffin, I guess?).

What's weird was that when I started it up again to eject the disc out, it started to work! It's like an Eternal Darkness insanity effect.

They dont send coffins, just pre-paid labels. You have to stuff it yourself.

Both times I've lost a 360, MS sent a box to my house with all the packing and whatnot - a prepaid label was in the box, along with some tape and even instructions.

Both times they've sent back a complementary X-Box live card, haven't used either yet.
I don't think they do that anymore. I got all that stuff when I sent mine in about a year ago, but my friend just had his 3 ring a month back and all they sent him was the prepaid label.

Moral of the story - keep the coffin they send it back in.  Mine is in the cupboard for next time. :smug
