Jesus fuck, I have no idea how I can get 90's on the first two tests, only to drop off so much by the end of the semester. I got a 75 on my 3rd test, and I'm lucky if I got half of this 200 point final correct. I had to leave damn near half the problems blank.
Motherfuck. I'm going to bed.

Well traditionally, concepts taught within a class get harder as the year progresses.
Plus physics isnt easy or anything :(
-
Shit man.
-
I went over the first 2 exams from the year, and I was able to do all the work on them without a problem. I haven't been able to understand the stuff on the third exam at all, as the notes we were given on it are pure ass. That being said, the problems on this test were fucking HARD. I had no idea how to do just about anything on it at all, and I doubt more study time would've helped me with it.
My average before this final was a 92.8 - A
If I get a 50% on the final, it drops to an 82.13 - I doubt I got a 50% on the final.
-
Pray for a big curve?
-
Well that sounds like a problem with the method of instruction. If you feel strongly enough about it you could take it over your instructors head, however id only recommend that if you believe you are in the right and not just upset over a bad test score.
I was a horrible student so im not about to give advice.
Also yes, if there is a curve chances are they all suffered from the lack of good notes and teaching and you win.

I bombed my Japanese final. I know how you feel.
-
I bombed my last two Business Law tests but if I pass the last one I can still finish with a C. Starting off the semester strong always saves you
-
I failed the first two tests in my video game studies class, I'm hoping my 10 page paper on the Wii saves me.
-
I got a 97 on my final phil/lit exam. :P
Don't know how I did on my final logic exam. First one was a 90, second was a 70 and I hope the trend didn't continue.
Didn't like the history final. And the prof is a tough grader as the class average for the first exam was a 60%
We'll see.

I told all already. It was a stealth sociolgy class. The tests were essays about gender and race represntation in video games and how viloence can affect kids blah blah blah.

Every sociology class I took seemed to be about race and gender and how race and gender didn't exist. Hmmm...

I avoided physics like a wussy!
-
hmm, I pretty much rock at exams, always have. I scored 161 on my LSAT despite being a B average student. My weakness is essays since I inevitably start drinking to release the creative juices (pervert) and I almost always get comments like "This was an A paper that was hindered by poor grammar and sentence structure - A-" If I could I would have just tested out of University. too bad that's not possible.

Smart ass. :(
I failed my anthro final today...I just know it.
-
I stand by the belief that as long as I go to every class and actually listen to the lecture there is no way I can ever fail an exam. The real trick of doing well in college is just making it to class, that's it.
-
Well, I have to agree since that's how I got through junior and senior year. (Freshmen and Sophmore I just slept in class lolz)
-
oops
-
Well, that was high school, right rodi?
And max I'd have to agree with you with stuff not related to mathematics or physics.
-
Well, that's some of my college classes too. I'm just not into most of it, which creates a real pain in the ass for me because now I have to figure out something else to do with my life that will be fulfilling and able pay the bills.
...or I continue to drag my feet, get a degree, get a job, blah blah blah.
-
Yea, it sucks not having something to really focus your efforts on. Having a plan really helps. Hope you find something you find interesting and economically viable soon. :P

This is true, Most of the math I had to take I learned better from the book and homework than from the class.
-
I was thinking it over, and I think I know what killed me on this physics test.
Pretty much all the homework we're given and stuff are single-step problems. The other tests were the same way, save for one problem I can remember from my third test that I did well.
This test was full of what I imagine were multi-step problems, and that's where I hit a brick wall. I was able to do the first two simple problems (one was a simple projectile motion problem), but after that I think things started to get multi-step. Now I'm not positive, but I think that's what was going on. What I mean is that with a problem, I'd have to do stuff with kinematics, momentum, and energy, or some shit like that. I just wasn't able to pull it all together, and I doubt I'd be able to do it today on a full night's sleep.
Sux.
